At the beginning of each semester, the Resident Director, Dr. Andrea Ricci, will hold two Academic meetings, one general and one individual, where he will inform you on the most important aspects of your academic life in Bologna. Please note that attendance at these meetings is mandatory. During the meeting you will receive comprehensive hand outs, calendars, syllabi, etc.. You are encouraged to meet with Dr. Andrea Ricci throughout the semester to discuss specific questions regarding your study plan.
Between the end of the first «modulo» and the beginning of the second «modulo» of each semester, an additional general academic meeting will be held, where each student will have the opportunity to ask more specific questions on how to prepare for UNIBO exams, how to approach each professor, what strategy to adopt to better perform in your exams, etc.

How to avoid academic problems::
Check-in with your Departmental Advisor on campus about the courses you are taking, especially if you are completing units for your major/minor requirements. Contact the Resident Director in Bologna, Dr. Andrea Ricci, if you are unsure about the content, schedule, or any other details regarding your classes Before leaving Bologna, not later than June 30th, turn in all of the following documents:
1. UNIBO libretto (exam card that professors sign with grade and exam date)
2. Course evaluations for all classes taken, and the BCSP program evaluation.
Remember: If you do not turn in these documents, the process of transferring your grades to your home campus cannot be completed.
